I can’t take credit for finding these absolute beauties as it was David Horne (@yodaofcosmetics) who recommend them to me, saying it was the best black eyeliner he’d tried, so obviously upon hearing this I ran down to the nearest Superdrug store to purchase them.
There are 8 shades in total, I only picked up 6 as they were 3 for 2 at the time of purchase. I got the black, white, silver, gold, blue and purple, and there is also a gun metal and bronze available. It turns out these are an amazing dupe for the Urban Decay 24/7 Glide-on Eye Pencils, which are £14 whereas the Barry M pencils are £3.99. I’ll need to play around with them a bit more but so far I am actually preferring them to the Urban Decay ones!
The black and white are matte, and the rest have a shimmer to them. They’re all incredibly pigmented and glide on like a cream giving you a small window of opportunity to move them around, and they they set to a waterproof finish.
On the left you have a swatch of the Urban Decay 24/7 Glide-on Eye Pencil in Peversion and on the right is the Barry M Bold Waterproof Eyeliner in Black. As you can see the colour pay off is pretty much the same, so it’s safe to say I’ll be sticking to the Barry M pencils form now on.
